Wild wraps over the fire
Looking for a super easy recipe for campfire food? Then look here! Wild wraps take no time to make and don't necessarily require many ingredients. Build them with your favorite accessories and enjoy them in good company around that bonfire.
Ingredients:
Venison (this is sirloin, cut from the hind leg)
Wraps
Fresh spinach
Red pepper, sliced
Red onion, sliced
Hot chili sauce
Frying oil
Salt and freshly ground pepper
Procedure:
Light the fire. Prepare the meat for the silver skin. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper. Fry the meat in oil over the fire until pink. This is half a thigh tongue from a canned calf. Roasting time depends on the size of the meat and the heat of the fire. I roasted the meat for about 5 minutes. on each side and let it rest for 10 min.
When the meat rests, grill the slices of red pepper, just a few minutes. Slice the red onion. Wash fresh spinach. Heat the wrap over the fire, a few seconds on each side.
Build your wild wrap and enjoy it around the campfire. Enjoy.
