WWF meat guide: Wild meat is climate friendly

WWF Sweden - World Wildlife Fund publishes an annual meat guide documenting carbon footprint, animal welfare and few other things. Game meat is the only meat that has a green stamp and happy smiles.

Animals such as wild boar and deer are defined as climate-friendly as there is no feeding or production of the animals. Wild boar are mentioned as having a lower carbon footprint per animal compared to chickens. Read the guide
